Prepping for Winter – skirting – part 1

As winter fast approaches, it’s time to really get the cabin ready for it!

There is no insulation under the floor of this cabin, and not enough crawl space to put any in, so by putting up just a thin layer of insulation and then some of the nice looking rusted tin we took off the carport, we’re hoping to help with the freezing floor of the cabin, and it should also help with keeping the cabin warmer during the winter time.

I took all the tools I needed to get this project taken care of.
2 dills (1 with a screwdriver bit, one with a drill bit, and a circular saw.
They all ran off of batteries.

Well, one died, so I switched to some old hand saws to finish off the project.
Figure if I’m going to live off grid, I’ll have to get used to this sometimes. (but I should have thought and brought the battery charger with me)

I was happy with what I got done during the weekend.
