Planting garlic for next season as well as a other updates was on tap for the day.
This last season’s garlic harvest was much, much better than the season before. But I’m hoping for still a better season next year.
I’ve taken the time to amend the soil more adding some more compost to the bed.
I had some problem with the new beds I made this year. The soil seemed to be a bit dense. The onions and carrots and radishes did not do well this year.
So, I added a couple bags of manure to the bed, and worked it in before planting.
I’ve grown garlic for several years, and each year I learn a bit more. I have a nice post about garlic if you may be new to growing it.
I also have a channel Garlic Playlist on YouTube.
After planting the garlic, I covered the status of the hickory tree cleanup after having it dropped.
