November 17th, our chicke Red hatched out 14 chicks!
It’s way later in the year than we normally let our chickens do this, but Red was determined, and so, here we are.
We normally keep our chicks in one of 2 different chicken tractors we have, but neither are really set up for late Fall/ early Winter.
We’ll have to see how things progress, I’ll probably end up trying to alter one of the chicken tractors to handle the strong cold winds.
Even if they’re causing a lot more work at this time of the year, they sure are cute!
