We got the run complete! And we were able to bring the chickens home!
In the last post, we tried to finish up the run so we could bring the flock home, but we just ran out to time. So, to finish up now!
It was a long day. We finished adding the hardware cloth to the sides, installed the “Ladies First” Automatic chicken door, and installed roosts.
We finished up at the end of the day, so it was dark by the time we got the flock.
They really weren’t sure what to make of it. The noise they made as we took them off their roosts and placed them in the cages for the drive home was incredible!
It was a long day, but it’s good to have the flock here with us.
